Susana Domingues

...is a seasoned Latin dance artist and teacher whose grace and passion have illuminated stages across Canada and beyond. With a heart as vibrant as her dance, Susana's journey is a tapestry of extraordinary experiences. She has dazzled audiences with performances alongside luminaries like Carlos Gavito, Fabian Salas, Nito Garcia, Argentino Ledezma, and Daniel Binelli. Her talent was showcased on prominent platforms like CBC, City TV, and in the TV series "The Lone Gunman."

Susana’s artistry also graces the world of production. From the captivating stage production "Tango Poema", to a jazz-tango fusion for Zed TV, to the educational "Salsa, Colombian Style" video, her productions merge rhythm, movement, and storytelling.

Beyond the dance floor, Susana’s writing contributions to Dance International Magazine reflect her deep understanding and love for this art form. A perpetual student of the rhythms that move her, Susana’s 13-year journey through music studies underpins an understanding of rhythm and melody, which she joyfully shares with all who step into her world. As a choreographer and coach, she has worked with acclaimed film and television actors such as Zuleikha Robinson and John Emmet Tracy.

With an equally remarkable teaching journey Susana has taught master classes across Canada, and many of her students have continued as dance teachers, spreading the love of dance. Her story is about passion, dedication, and the endless pursuit of beauty in movement. And despite her vast experience, Susana remains enthusiastic as ever about introducing newcomers to the magic of dance. She cultivates an experience that succeeds in expressing: ‘There is beauty in me, therefore, there is beauty in life.’
